Very nice set. Glad to get some ODSTs and Brutes

This is a great set and I like how Mega has started doing a few in the same format, it makes them good for starter packs. The fact that they come with two Covenant figures and two UNSC figures is great for play value and display, but it has a few advantages and disadvantages:

1.Weapons: The new plasma rifle material is worse than the old one, and it is too flexible and squishy. One of the prongs on mine had been bent out of shape by the packaging! The old material was a harder plastic and much more durable. The SMG is a Halo 5 model and the silencer is way too short and stubby, the old silenced SMG was better. Mega, you can use two molds at once you know! The plasma turret falls apart easily because of bad design, and the old design was much, much more sturdy. It comes with a flexible plasma bolt that fits into the turret, which is great for display and stop motion. The colour choice is great except for the brute shot, it could have been grey but it's not that bad seeing it in that colour. The tactical magnum has no issues besides the fact it could've been accompanied by a sniper.

2.Figures: These are really great figures with dessert tan ODSTs and Brutes simulated in VISR mode, but they do have issues. All batches are different and mine had some black paint smudges on both the ODSTs' helmets. It doesn't quite matter as they can look like battle scars. The Brute captain's helmet was malformed and one half was sort of bent. The peg that helps it stay on the Brute's head is shorter than usual and it falls off easily. The other brute was completely fine though!

3.Terrain: I like the idea of using a barricade to indicate New Mombasa City, but it's a bit small and needs to be expanded on. It's too short and the figures can't sit behind it without their heads poking out. It's the same with every set in this format and the barricade could be taller and longer by a whole brick. The colour is very nice, especially with the marbling. It's darker than the picture but it looks a lot better.

Overall it's a great set and I highly recommend it. It has a great price but terrible distribution to other countries. I'm from Australia and we used to have loads back in 2014-Mid 2016, luckily I was able to find it on Amazon a few dollars overprice. If you're gonna go there, I highly recommend going Prime if you want this cheap.
Thank you for reading my review!

I love this set. Took 4 months to get, and was happy when it came. The brutes are great, and same with the ODST. My sniper has extra tan, so i ended up sharpie over it. Now, my four tan ODST have sharpie blue visors lol.

Love this set but would prefer a spiker to a plasma rifle but overall great 5 stars.
